Enliven Goes Global
Lansing, MI – January 19, 2010 – East Lansing based Enliven Software is now a global company. With partners and customers in Australia and West Africa the 3 year-old company is now doing business across both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. “This is a really important part of our business model”, says Bunmi Akinyemiju, CEO of Enliven. “We have now launched in earnest the global component of our financial services automation platform.”

In recent months, Enliven has experienced significant growth. Australia represents new growth opportunities in small and medium sized businesses for Enliven. “Most of our initial growth is coming from small and medium sized businesses that are more apt to adopt Enliven’s technology as a means to keep costs under control and increase competitive position”, Akinyemiju stated. “There are many great, well established small and medium sized businesses in Australia and we can provide a great value to them.”

In West Africa, Enliven is finding that firms, big and small, are very interested in paperless, electronic payment solutions. “Adoption rates of our products are very high in developing African nations,” Akinyemiju said. “Firms in developing nations do not have many of the legacy costs and infrastructure that most American firms do, so they start by adopting the newest technology.”

“2010 will be a great year for Enliven. We will continue to integrate into other foreign markets as well as roll out new products in new industries,” Akinyemiju stated.

Enliven distributes its solutions through partner channels. In its global efforts, Enliven identifies a strong partner on the ground, with existing customer base and industry knowledge to team up. Through the partner, Enliven is able to ramp up and leverage the partner’s local intelligence, domain expertise and existing customer relationships.
